Digitalisation influences processes in companies along the entire value chain. Regardless of whether it is in material and product development, manufacturing, sales, accounting, logistics or HR management - some of the challenges and keywords that need to be considered include consistency and integrated processes, flexibility and agility. Digitalisation offers many possibilities, from simulation and modelling (keyword: digital twin) to virtualisation and the use of artificial intelligence in sales, customer and process management. Here, too, there is ultimately only one thing that needs to be done: to take advantage of the opportunities and increase efficiency.
