The Digital Skills Qualification Alliance offers unique funding opportunities provided by AMS Upper Austria and the province of Upper Austria.

 

QBN Promotion by AMS Upper Austria

The qualification support for employees of the Upper Austrian Employment Market Service applies to job market-related training and further training of interest to a wide range of companies. The AMS covers up to 50% of the course costs and up to 50% of the personnel costs. The limit for funding is €1,000 per person and per request. The application must be submitted at least one week before the start of the course.

The following people are eligible for funding:

  • Men under 45 without an apprenticeship diploma and no more than compulsory school leaving certificate
  • Women under 45 without a Matura (Austrian high school leaving certificate) and not more than one apprenticeship certificate
  • Men and women aged 45 and over regardless of their education background

Upper Austrian state funding

The Upper Austrian state can be applied to for funding if funding from the Upper Austrian Public Employment Service is not available. Only course and examination costs from 250 euros excluding VAT per course and person are eligible for funding. The funding limit is a maximum of 5,000 euros per person and course or 30,000 euros per company.
The application for payment of the funding amount must be submitted before the start of the training.

The following people are eligible for funding:

  • Men under 45 who have a higher level of education than compulsory education
  • Women under 45 who have a higher level of education than an apprenticeship diploma or BMS middle school
  • Men and women aged 45 and over, providing training takes less than 24 hours
